Overnight Oats are a delicious, healthy breakfast and the best make-ahead breakfast. I normally prepare my overnight oats the night before as part of my meal prep and let them sit in the fridge overnight. In the morning, I just need to slice some fruit and add some honey and cinnamon, and that's it!
I love having overnight oats for breakfast almost every day. They are ready to eat when I wake up in the morning and are packed with fiber, protein, and healthy carbohydrates. They are nutritious, keep me full for several hours and taste really good!

Here's my Overnight Oats Recipe
Ingredients
4 tablespoons of rolled oats
1 tablespoon of chia seeds
Plant-based milk such as almond milk, oat milk, or your milk of choice
Toppings
Fresh fruit, honey and cinnamon
Instructions
Place the rolled oats and chia seeds in a glass jar
Pour the milk over the oats until they are submerged, then add a little more so the milk is about an inch above the oats
Place the lid on and shake well to combine, ensuring no clumps of chia seeds remain
Refrigerate overnight
To serve, top with your favorite toppings such as fresh fruit, nuts, and granola. I like to include honey and cinnamon, along with fresh seasonal fruit
Note: You can substitute honey with maple syrup, agave, stevia, or your favorite sweetener.
This overnight oats recipe is a great choice for a sweet morning treat that's also healthy and will keep you full for several hours.
These overnight oats are gluten-free and dairy-free. While oats are generally gluten-free, you can buy rolled oats labeled as "gluten-free" to avoid any potential cross-contamination.

Enjoy these delicious and nutritious overnight oats for breakfast!
